The city of Hagerstown kicked off their 5th Annual Hub City 100 Miler event challenging the community to complete 100 Miles in 100 days.
The kick-off event was held at the Hagerstown Fairgrounds featuring over a dozen vendors that were on-site to help participants register, as well as promote healthy living choices. Despite the cold and blustery winds, over 200 participants showed up to complete their first mile.
Representatives from all three Martin’s stores in Hagerstown promoted the “One for Good” initiative by handing out Savory magazines, as well as two new brochures – “Eating Healthy on a Budget” and “Healthy Kids”. Registered walkers were also offered a water and fruit.
